Of course, it would be nice, in the end, to be in the capital – out of harm’s way, and at the same time to see what’s what, but here’s the bad luck: the bridge across which the road runs was blown away by water, and we have to wait for the moment when it will be repaired, in the small and unremarkable village of Volksville. From entertainment here, easy shopping, a visit to a pub and an inspection of the crypts in the cemetery – it does not take long to retrain from boredom from the last visitor to the eternal inhabitant.
